Fragmentary Attic Red-Figure Skyphos
This skyphos is restored from fragments. It has two horizontal handles and a black interior.
On the exterior (A) satyr moving at speed to left, back view, with arms outstretched. A panther skin is draped over left arm. Inscription K....S and H (probably 'the boy is beautful').
(B) A maenad brandishing thrysus to right; a snake in left hand and wrapped around her arm. She has a red band in her hair.
Inscription KA?OS HO ?AIS.
Under handles: vertical double palmette
Reserved underfoot, except inner wall and two concentric rings at the centre.
