Fragment from a calyx krater depicting part of a banquet taking place in the interior of a building: Ionic capitals and reserved ceiling beams remain. The front capital is rendered in added white, the rear in reserve with white outline. Within the building, a young man reclines to the left on a couch (cushion under his left arm). Only his head and torso are preserved. He holds a kantharos (added white and yellow) and wears a double row of white beads and a yellow wreath (decorated with white dot-clusters and dilute glaze dots) in his hair. Interior, black, with reserved band.
