Alabastron · 6th–4th century B.C.
Core-formed, opaque turquoise glass alabastron decorated with dark blue (cobalt) vertically combed zig-zag pattern in dark blue (cobalt). Spiraling threads of light blue are above the main pattern and decorate the lip edge. Trails of molten blue glass form scroll handles on either side of the upper body. The vessel still has a small section of a bronze chain attached to the mouth.
