Alabastron

Alabastron · 6th–4th century B.C.
Core-formed, brown alabastron with combed decoration in yellow and turquoise. The edge of the mouth is decorated with a thread of yellow and a small area of turquoise is still visible as well. Two small, scroll handles are on the upper body, one on each side. The vessel is in good condition with some minor scratches and some areas of iridescence especially visible around one of the handles.
