Alabastron

Alabastron · 6th–4th century B.C.
A core-formed alabastron of opaque black glass. White threads are applied: two near the bottom, three around the center, two near the top, and one around the rim. Handles are applied on either side forming volutes which run down the side and terminate in small lugs. Weathering occurs all over the vessel giving it a rusty color with some iridescence
