τριβώλετερ
τριβώλετερ, obscure word found only in Alc. 38: cited by Heph. 11.3, who attests its metrical form (--), and by Choerob. in Theod. 1.262 H., al., who says it is an Aeol. voc., proparox., and means εἶδος ἀκάνθης: the quantity is against Bergk's derivation from Τριβολολετηρ 'caltrop-devourer'. [τριβωλ‐ codd. Heph., τριβολ‐, τρεβολ‐, and τριβαλ‐ codd.Choerob.]
