A. ‐θεύσομαι Od. 20.245:—run together with, τοῖς ἀνέμοις Poll. 1.196: metaph. of things, go along with, go smoothly with, οὐχ ἡμῖν συνθεύσεται ἥδε γε βουλή Od.l.c.

II. run together, i.e. to the same place, εἰς ταὐτό Arist. HA 533b24; πρὸς τὸ μέσον Id. Cael. 297a26: abs., Id. HA 611a1.

2. of lines and the like , run together, meet in one point, X. Eq. 10.11.

3. metaph., agree, τῷ Ἐφόρου λόγῳ Aristid. Or. 36(48).71.

4. shrink up, retract, μύες Hp. Fract. 35.
