Large amphora with echinus mouth, slightly concave neck, two strap handles from shoulder to neck, and piriform belly supported by conical foot. Mouth, neck, and handles black without ornament. Shoulder decorated with six or seven rows of incised scale patterns below a border of forty-three simple, incised tongues at base of neck. The animal procession consists of (in order) a lion, two panthers, a duck, two dogs (or hares?), three ducks, a flying bird (vulture?), a grazing doe, a lion, dog (or hare?), antlered stag, a grazing boar, another lion, and an antlered stag. Fourteen small dot-rosettes fill spaces between and above the animals.
Incision employed for animal frieze, guilloche borders, scale patterns, and tongues at neck base. Red, black, and white paint. Overpaints are abundant.
