Pelike Seated Eros holding phiale

Eros, wearing a kekryphalos and necklace, is seated to the left on a seat covered with a red cloak, his feet resting on groundlines of white dots. He holds a phiale in his raised right hand. His skin is white, and his wings are white and red. In the field at left are a phiale and ivy leaf. On the obverse neck are three bands of ornament: dotted egg-pattern, battlements, and a row of pendants resembling a necklace. The entire reverse is undecorated. The entire reverse is undecorated. The stem of the foot and the broad groove below the overhanging rim are tinted with reddish wash.
