One Fragment from a Set of Fragments of an Attic Black-Figure Neck Amphora.

Fragment from the body of the vessel, with a palmette at right. Herakles (wearing his lion skin) attacks to right. All that survives of the hero is the front of his face and an extended arm. Before him, the hight-crested helmet of a figure who has collapsed. Traces of added white suggests Herakles' opponent is female, presumably an Amazon.
