One Attic Black-Figure Neck Amphora Fragment

Black-figure Painter of the Nicosia Olpe · Amphora · about 550–540 B.C.
Composed of three joined fragments, preserving approximately a third of the neck. The base of the handle (three ribs) survives. Addorsed palmettes on front and back, with linking chain of dotted circles. Added red for palmette hearts, and also for the fillet at the base of the neck. Interior, black.
