Report of the archaeologist Κonstantinos Kourouniotis to the Ministry of Education dated March 8, 1923. In it he states that the "Museum of the Evangelical School of Smyrna, known worldwide for its precious collections of most important antiquities from Asia Minor, has unfortunately been burnt".
