Mosaic Fragment with Three Birds and a Tree

5th–6th century
Fragment of a mosaic depicting three birds and a tree. In the bottom right corner is a dark bird with white spots and a large beak. The other two birds, one on the ground and the other in the tree at the top left, are light in color. The body and foot of a fourth bird is partially preserved in the top left corner. The tree has a curved trunk, long leaves, and large round fruits.
