Mold-Made Bowl of Megarian Type

150-50 BCE
Reddish-buff micaceous fabric with worn metallic slip misfired to shades of black, brown, and red. Mold-made with attached wheel thrown rim. At the base of the bowl's exterior is a rosette in relief, enclosed within two concentric circles. Smooth and scored acanthus leaves radiate from this. Small rosettes occupy the space between the tips of these leaves. Above these is an egg-and-dart border below the thick, plain, wheel-made rim.
