Loom weight with Gorgon head

3rd–2nd century B.C.
Discoid loomweight with two holes. On the front, a frontal head. The surface is worn, but the spiky locks of hair and bow visible just above the perferations suggest it depicts a Gorgon with a large neck.
The loom weight has pink-to-red clay with lime inclusions, as well as small mica and red inclusions.
