Lekythos (oil flask): Dionysos seated and flanked by Two Maenads
Partially preserved black-figure lekythos; neck broken at shoulder. On the body, Dionysos sits in profile facing right; he is flanked on either side by seated maenads. The maenads each hold a tendril. On the shoulder, a pattern of black rays.
