Discus Iconography: Two gladiators in combat on groundline; secutor at left wearing helmet completely hiding his face, holding a short sword; retiarius at right attacking him with trident.

Description: Moldmade. Ring handle with three grooves on both upper and lower parts. Deep basin. Flat shoulder, separated from discus by a flat-topped ridge marked off by two grooves; one further groove inside; small globule on each side of handle and on each side of heart-shaped nozzle with burn marks. Central filling-hole. Air hole in lower field. Base marked off by one circular groove. Incuse plain planta pedis.
