Kantharos

Kantharos · 7th century BCE
Small, perhaps miniature, impasto kantharos. The body of the vessel is ribbed; the neck is wide, and the mouth flares outward at the lip. There are two vertical handles, joining the body at the top of the ribbed section and rising above the lip; there is an incised grove running vertically on each handle. On the base is a double X graffito.
