Jug in form of a bird

Oinochoe · 7th century B.C.
Vase in the shape of a plump bird. The mouth of the vase is the top of the bird's head. There is a hole on one side of the mouth's lip. A small perforated knob is on the bird's back. Each wing has an incised drawing of a bird. Feathers are incised on the breast and wings. On the breast is an Etruscan inscription.
