Earring with Head of Maenad

Gold hoop earring with the head of a maenad. The hoop is made of three strands of gold wire, twisted and tapering towards the back where they finally merge into a smooth point. At the front the hoop ends in a spool-shaped element, edged with beaded wire above and below. The maenad's head is set on this spool-shaped. The earring is one of a pair.
