Campanian Black Guttus with Sieve Top

The circular handle is vertical at a right angle to an upward-pointing mouth, in the form of a cylindrical tube. At the center of the upper, slightly concave, surface of the vessel is a circular ledge, within which are six perforations, arranged with five surrounding one at the center.
The surface is covered with black gloss, save the underside of the low foot. There are groups of vertical incised lines around the exterior, in groups ranging from two to eight.There are many preserved traces of off-white paint.
