Campanian Black Duck Askos (large-sized)

323–31 B.C.
This askos has a duck tail, but the neck teminates in a spout rather than a head. The vessel is covered in an iridescent black gloss. The foot is reserved except for some areas where gloss appears to have been mistakenly applied. Incrustation occurs between the foot and the body.
