A standard shape of the end of the fourth century. The beveled mouth is broad and overhanging, with a flat molding at the top; the reserved stem is short and wide. White rays circle the enck. The body is covered by a network of white, crosshatched lines. Around the shoulder is a yellow stripe framed by two white stripes. Two yellow stripes circle the lower body. Both the shape and the decoration are common; see, for example, Capua 8079 (CVA 4, pl. 2,5) and Lecce 1297 (Bernardini, Vasi, p. 22, pl. 46, 6). J.R. Green has dated the vogue for such "recticulate" decoration, also applied to lekythois, to the period 320-300 B.C. (CVA Universith Museum, University of Pennsylvania 1, p. 33)
