The vessel is black, with a reserved decorated panel on the body. In the center Dionysos is portrayed in profile, holding a large drinking horn. He wears a himation, decorated with bands of added red and five clusters of white dots. He is flanked on either side by a dancing maenad and satyr. Decorative vines are in the background.
The panel is framed by a band of ivy leaves on the side, and red and black tongues on the shoulder.
