Attic Red-Figure Kylix

Red-figure Meleager Painter · Kylix · about 380 B.C.
In the tondo, Apollo rides a griffin to right. The tondo border is a meander alternating with chequered squares.
On the exterior, palmette complexes in handle zones. On one side, a maiden holding a disc (tympanon?) is flanked by two nude youths. On B, a similar scene. The cup has been reconstructed from fragments; there are some areas of fill, and the foot is complete reconstruction.
