Red-figure BLACK FURY GROUP · Krater · about 375 B.C.
Bearded male figure, perhaps a king, in a pose of dejection or sorrow. The fragment preserves most of his head and left shoulder. He rests his sharply titled head on his fingertips. He wears a sleeved garment patterned with stars and a border of dots along the inner edge, as well as two stripes bordered with a scallop pattern along the shoulder and sleeve. Beneath it he wears a tunic bordered at the neck with a strip and a scalloped edge. At right, the arm of another figure (fringed short sleeve). Interior, black.
