Antefix Fragment
3rd century B.C.
The fragment preserves the frontal face of a man with long hair and beard. Many traces of polychromy remain: the face is a reddish-brown, the brows, eyes and beard are black and the hair is dark brown. Along the edges of the back are traces of a blue-gray pigment (?). The beard comes to a point at the bottom and the hair is combed over the forehead. The man wears a fillet. The back of the fragment is hollow.
