Amphoriskos

2nd–1st century B.C.
Core-formed, dark bluish-black amphoriskos decorated with a combed pattern in yellow and white. A thread of yellow spirals around the neck and continues and ends at the edge of the mouth. The lower body is also decorated with a spiraling yellow thread that ends in a knob base made of clear brown glass. Two brown handles, one on each side, extend from the neck and attach to the shoulder. The vessel is in good condition with some signs of weathering and discoloration. There is a small hole near the base and a few abrasions and scratches on the surface.
