Amphoriskos

6th–4th century B.C.
Core-formed, dark red-brown amphoriskos with a combed, opaque white, zig-zag pattern around the upper body. A thread of white spirals around the shoulder and lower body. The edge of the mouth is also decorated with a thread of white. Two handles, one on either side of the neck, extend from the top of the neck to the shoulder. The vessel has small, knob foot. The condition is good with some signs of wear and some discoloration especially on the neck and upper body. There are some nicks and scratches.
