άδος, ἡ
A. ball of dung, such as that of sheep or goats: hence in pl., σφυράδων ἀποκνίσματα scraps of sheep's or goats' dung, Ar. Pax 790, cf. Sch., Hsch.s.v. σφυράδες.
2. Medic., pill, τρεῖς σπυράδας Hp. Mul. 2.147.—Cf. σπύραθος.
