σποδίζω

A. roast or bake in ashes, μύρτα καὶ φηγοὺς πρὸς τὸ πῦρ ς. Pl. R. 372c; ἤ με κεραυνῷ . . σπόδισον burn me to ashes, Ar. V. 329; ς. τὰς τρίχας singe, D.S. 3.25.
