An. 5.4.13; σκύτινον καθειμένον a leathern phallus, Ar. Nu. 538 (v.l. ‐ίον); so σκυτίνη ἐπικουρία Id. Lys. 110; a phrase which is used by Strattis (Fr. 54) to denote the feebleness of Sannyrio; prob. both writers meant to pun upon the proverb συκίνη ἐπικουρία, v. σύκινος.
