2. esp. the θόλος at Athens, IG 22.1013.39; ἐπὶ Σκιάδος warden of the Σ., ib.3.1041 (ii A.D.), 1051.22 (ii/iii A.D.), etc., cf. Ammon. ap. Harp. s.v. θόλος: also, a rotunda at Sparta in which the assemblies of the people were held, Paus. 3.12.10.
