ῥᾳδιουργέω

A. do things with ease or offhand, οἷα πολλὰ ἡ θεὸς (sc. Εὐχή)ῥ. Luc. Herm. 71.
2. act thoughtlessly or recklessly, do wrong, play the rogue, κλέπτει, τελωνεῖ, ῥᾳδιουργεῖ Apollod.Com. 13.13, cf. Plu. 2.602a; ῥ. ἐν ταῖς ἐφημερίσι make fraudulent entries, ib.829d; of writers on Alexander the Great, Str. 11.6.4: c. acc., ἐπιστολάς J. Vit. 65:—Pass., PTeb. 42.16 (ii B.C.), διαθήκη ἐραδιουργημένη PVat. 11r.7.41 (ii A.D.).
II. live a lazy life, take things easily, opp. προνοεῖν, φιλοπονεῖν, X. Cyr. 1.6.8, 2.1.25, 8.4.5, Oec. 20.17, Hier. 8.9, etc.:—Pass., γνοὺς πλεῖστα (v.l. πλείστους)ῥᾳδιουργεῖσθαι Id. Lac. 5.2.
III. c. acc., treat slightingly, neglect, τὴν ἀλήθειαν Philostr. Im. 1.12.
