A. presidency, at Athens the period during which the πρυτάνεις of each φυλή in turn presided in the βουλή and ἐκκλησία, Antipho 6.45, And. 1.73; ἑνδεκάτῃ τῆς πρυτανείας (sc. τῆς Πανδιονίδος) Decr. ap.
