Ar. denies that πρέσβεως Ar. Ach. 93 is gen. of this word: Boeot. pl. πρισγεῖες IG 7.2418.6, 18 (Thebes, iv B. C.), 1720.6 (Thespiae, ii B. C.) (πρεσβῆες in Hes. Sc. 245 belongs in form to this word, in meaning to πρέσβυς 1.1).
