2. Med. with aor. 1 παρεκαθισάμην, let another sit down beside one, π. παῖδας καὶ γυναῖκας ἑαυτοῖς Lycurg. 141, cf. J. AJ 19.4.5; also π. τινά make him assessor or co-arbiter, D. 33.14.
