A. give an unjust judgement, esp. in an athletic contest, Plu. 2.535c:—Pass., to be the victim of a perversion of justice, παραβεβραβευμένοι Plb. 23.1.12 (v.l. ‐μένοις κρίμασι, i.e. perverted).
