A. fitted out, furnished with, χλανιδίοις E. Supp. 110; ὀσμῇ Id. El. 498; δένδρεα . . καρπῶν ἀφθονίῃσι κατήρεα cj. in Emp. 78; [ἕρπυλλος] φύλλοισι κ. Nic. Th. 69; esp. of ships, furnished with oars, εἶχε πλοῖον κατῆρες ἑτοῖμον had a rowing boat ready, Hdt. 8.21; but ταρσὸς κ. a well-fitted oar, E. IT 1346.
