θριγκόω

A. surround with a θριγκός, [αὐλὴν] ἐθρίγκωσεν ἀχέρδῳ fenced it with thorn-bushes, Od. 14.10, dub. in IG 12.111.
II. build even to the coping-stone: metaph., complete, make an end of, ἄτας τάσδε θριγκώσων φίλοις A. Ag. 1283; δῶμα ‐ῶσαι κακοῖς to bring the house to the height of misery, E. HF 1280; θριγκουμένη . . οἰκία Arist. Ph. 246a19.
