A. quiet, ἤ. καὶ ἡσύχιος βίος 1 Ep.Ti. 2.2, cf. OGI 519.10 (iii A.D.), Procl. in Prm. p.536 S.; ἠ. πούς Luc. Trag. 207; ἤρεμον ἑαυτὸν παρέχειν IPE 12.40.24 (Olbia, ii/iii A.D.); ‐ώτερος ἐπισπασμός gentler traction, Sor. 1.73.
2. τὸ ἤ. smoothness, of pigments, Thphr. Lap. 62.
3. Adv. ‐μως quietly, Asp. in EN 120.13. (Cf. Lith. rìmti 'grow still', Goth. rimis (= ἡσυχία), Skt. ramṇāti 'set at rest'.)
