A. rest, opp. κίνησις, Arist. Ph. 202a4; ἐν ἠ. εἶναι Id. Metaph. 988b4, cf. Aristox. Harm. p.12 M., Sor. 1.46.
2. of the mind, quietude, ἠ. ψυχῆς περὶ τὰ δεινά Pl. Def. 412a, cf. Arist. de An. 406a27 (pl.); ἐπὶ πολλῆς ἠ. ὑμῶν leaving you entirely at rest, v. l. for ἐρημίας, D. 13.8 (ἠρεμίη κοίτης is perh. a mistake for ἐρημίη, Epigr.Gr. 321.11).
