ἑωλοκρασία

A. mixture of dregs, heel-taps, etc., with which the drunken were dosed at the end of a revel by their strongerheaded companions: metaph., ἑωλοκρασίαν τινά μου τῆς πονηρίας κατασκεδάσας having discharged the stale dregs of his rascality over me, D. 18.50, cf. Harp., Luc. Symp. 3; also, = κραιπάλη, ἐμμένει τὸ . . δυσάρεστον, ὥσπερ ἑ. τις ὕβρεως ἢ ὀργῆς Plu. 2.148a.
