Abst. 2.6:—Pass., pf. ἐρήριγμαι (v. infr.):—rend, ἤρεικον χθόνα rent it with the ploughshare, Hes. Sc. 287 ; πέπλον ἐ. A. Pers. 1060(lyr.): in this sense Hom. has only Pass., ἐρεικόμενος περὶ δουρί Il. 13.441.
