ἐπαραρίσκω

υῖα, ός, η, ον
A. fit to or upon, fasten, θύρας σταθμοῖσιν ἐπῆρσεν on or to the posts, Il. 14.167; ἐπὶ δὲ ζυγὸν ἤραρεν ἀμφοῖν h.Merc. 50.
II. intr. in Ion. pf. ἐπάρηρα [αρ], plpf. ἐπαρήρειν:—fit tight or exactly, μία δὲ κληῒ ἐπαρήρει a cross-bolt was fitted therein, Il. 12.456; part. ἐπαρηρώς,υῖα, ός, close-fitting, well fixed, εὖ ἐπαρηρὼς ποσσίν firm on his feet, Arat. 83: also ἐπάρμενος,η, ον, Ep. aor. part. Pass., well-fitted, prepared, ready, βίον, ὅπλα, Hes. Op. 601, 627:—also in form ἐφάρμ‐, suited, c. dat., Nonn. D. 12.35.
