2. c. gen., thirst for, ποτοῦ Pl. R. 437d: metaph., ἀοιδᾶν δ. Pi. P. 9.104.—The form δίψη occurs in Opp. C. 4.339, and in codd. of A. Ch. 756; cf. δίψος.
