διαδατέομαι

A. διεδασάμην Pi. (v. infr.):

1. in reciprocal sense, divide among themselves, διὰ κτῆσιν δατέοντο Il. 5.158, Hes. Th. 606, cf. Pi. O. 1.51; δ. τὴν ληΐην Hdt. 8.121.

2. in act.sense, divide, distribute, διὰ παῦρα δασάσκετο (Ion. iterative form) Il. 9.333; ἐς φυλὰς διεδάσαντο distributed them among the tribes, Hdt. 4.145:— Pass., to be divided, γῆς διαδατουμένης App. BC 1.1.
