γλυκάζω

A. sweeten, τὴν κατάποσιν Epict. Gnom. 22; affect with a sensation of sweetness, τοὺς ὑγιαίνοντας S.E. P. 1.211:—Pass., receive a taste of sweetness, Hierocl.p.29A., S.E. P. 1.20; but, taste sweet, Gp. 2.39.4, and so intr. in Act. of wine, Ath. 1.26c; μέλι γλυκάζον LXX Ez. 3.3, cf. Plot. 4.3.26.
