II. ἀποστασίου βιβλίον writing or bill of divorce, LXX De. 24.1, Ev.Matt. 19.7, Ev.Marc. 10.4: so ἀποστάσιον Ev.Matt. 5.32.

III. ἀποστασίου συγγραφή deed of cession, conveyance, PHib. 1.96.3 (iii B.C.), cf. PGiss. 36.21 (ii B.C.), etc.; ἀντίγραφονίου BGU 919.23 (ii A.D.); with συγγραφή omitted, esp. in phrase πρᾶσις καὶ ἀποστασίου PTeb. 561v (i A.D), etc.
