II. a disease of trees, scab, Cladosporium herbarum, esp. of fig-trees, when they are overgrown with moss, Thphr. HP 4.14.3, etc.; also of the olive, Hp. Nat.Mul. 79, Mul. 2.117; cf. λειχήν.
